We are all used to seeing the iconic red raised bull’s eye rash that follows this disease. For some people this rash may never appear. Another way to identify this is the flu like symptoms that might follow. These can occur from three days up to a month after you have been infected. If you go untreated you could suffer some long term symptoms such as:
*Joint pain and swelling
*Numbness and tingling in your hands, feet and back
*None improving lack of energy
*Trouble focusing thoughts
*Poor memory
*Paralysis or weakness in your facial muscles
